Upcoming Music Performance
On Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 music students from Naco Schools and Greenway Elementary will perform in Bisbee at Lowell Jr. High School at 7:00 PM. This event is open to the public.
New Hours at El Centro Café and Community Center
Our youth run Café and Community Center is now open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-8:15 AM and 2:30PM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday, as well as when our door is open. We are thankful for our youth workers Jasanni and Paul who have helped to make this possible, along with our Executive Director, Dr. Lori Keyne, and our new volunteers who will be helping after school as we develop our after school programs.
We would like to thank Kathleen Jarvis, Ron Breedlove, and Joan Reichel for joining us as volunteers to help with our after school activities. It is wonderful to have their support in our mission!
Duolingo Classes at El Museo (20-30 Building) in Naco, Sonora
Starting on February 6th, on Mondays at 5 p.m., our volunteers will be offering Duolingo classes at El Museo in Naco, Sonora for youth and their family members. Class members will need to bring a smart phone capable of downloading the Duolingo App. Our volunteer instructors will help familiarize students with the app, and help them practice their English skills. Come learn English with us in a friendly community environment!
A partir del 6 de febrero, a las 5 p.m. los lunes, nuestros voluntarios estarán ofreciendo clases de Duolingo en El Museo en Naco, Sonora para jóvenes y sus familiares. Los miembros de la clase deberán traer un teléfono celular capaz de descargar la aplicación Duolingo. Nuestros instructores voluntarios ayudarán a los estudiantes a familiarizarse con la aplicación y los ayudarán a practicar sus habilidades en inglés. ¡Ven a aprender inglés con nosotros en un ambiente comunitario amable!
