The Bi-national Arts Institute (BNAI) came into existence to deal with the complex and difficult issue of collaboration within our border region. At times, it is hard to see the border as a rich source of culture rather than a divider.

We see our communities in both sides of the border as a rich environment where peoples and cultures are truly transnationals. We share the vision of a common culture in the borderlands and you, as part of this rich community are important for us. BNAI is a volunteer organization, result of the continuous effort of the community.

We are seeking help from volunteers at BNAI as well as at El Centro Community Center in Naco, AZ. Please review the list below for our current volunteer positions.

Volunteer Positions

Youth Café Volunteer

Are you a youth interested in gaining valuable work skills and entrepreneurial experience? At El Centro we offer opportunities for youth to volunteer at our café, serving drinks and accepting donations, as well as completing other tasks involved in running a successful business.

Special Events

The Bi-national Arts Institute presents events such as the Concert Without Borders, and we could use help to ensure that these events run smoothly and are fun and enjoyable for all who are involved. If you are interested in volunteering to help at a special event, we would appreciate your help!

We are also planning to host evening events for our youth and our local community at El Centro, such as Cultural Events, Karaoke night, Movie night, or any other events that may interest the community. We would love to have your help to make these events possible!

Special Skills

Local and regional citizen, organizations, and artists from both sides of the border are strongly encouraged to take part in BNAI programs. We also need assistance with various tasks if you would like to put your skills to work, making a difference in our local community.
